AC Shadows Introduces Surprising Attack on Titan Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a bizarre partnership that challenges conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the formal release, "A mysterious meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of forbidden practices and terrifying transformations resonate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine sect.
The mission concentrates on "strange experiments and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Transformations
The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Extra Material
Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to several artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Latest Free Story Addition
This patch also adds the game's latest free story addition, titled "The Mystery."
